The clone was obtained through selection within the Riesling Italian variety population. It belongs to the industrial viticulture sector and is used for creating wines with a protected designation of origin.

The plant is distinguished by higher yield and fertility compared to the original variety, as well as an absence of tendency toward flower abscission (millerandage). At the same time, the clone demonstrates susceptibility to black rot.
