Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the Western European ecological-geographical group. The vine has medium-sized five-lobed leaves with slight pubescence on the underside and strongly reflexed margins. The flowers are bisexual. The variety has a high yield of up to 100 c/ha and is resistant to flower shedding during flowering.

The berries are round, yellow in color, and covered with a waxy bloom and small brown dots. The thin skin of the berries contributes to susceptibility to noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). The variety is characterized by low frost resistance (down to -15...-18°C), a tendency to sunburn, and medium resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold.

Young wines from this variety are distinguished by aromas of green apple and citrus. Upon aging, notes of honey, wax, toast, and hay emerge in the flavor-aroma profile.
