The variety is the result of a cross between Baroque and Cot. The vines are characterized by very vigorous growth and an upright development type. Young shoots have medium density pubescence at the apex.
The leaves are round in shape, entire or 3–5-lobed, with a characteristic curled, blistered blade and pronounced anthocyanin coloration of the veins. The berries are round in shape.
The variety is intended for wine production and is well-suited for mechanical harvesting. It possesses low sensitivity to grey mold.
