The leaf is medium-sized, round, five-lobed, very deeply incised, without significant pubescence on the underside. Bunches are small or medium, conical in shape, and of medium to high density. Berries are small, round, greenish-white in color with an amber-yellow hue when ripe and a thick waxy bloom.
A variety of medium to medium-late maturity with low or medium, often irregular yield. It possesses low frost resistance, is drought-tolerant, susceptible to downy mildew and Botrytis, and extremely sensitive to phylloxera.
Wines from Semidano have a pale straw color, a delicate floral-fruity aroma with notes of peach, apricot, citrus, and herbs. The taste is characterized by freshness, pronounced acidity, and moderate alcohol content.
