The variety is the result of breeding Seyve Villard 12-358 and Svatovavřinecké. The ripening period varies from mid-early to mid-late, with harvest often delayed until October or November to increase sugar content. Yields range from 8.5 to 17 tonnes per hectare.
The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and good resistance to downy mildew; frost hardiness is comparable to the Frankovka variety. Leaves are small or medium, rounded, V-shaped. Clusters are small or medium, moderately dense; berries are small, rounded, dark blue in color with pigmented pulp.
A wine variety intended for creating wines of deep ruby or dark red color with a pronounced fruit-floral profile and notes of wild berries. Due to its disease resistance, it is suitable for organic viticulture.
