Variety description

The variety originated from a natural cross between the Mondeuse blanche and Dureza varieties. The vines are medium-vigorous, with bisexual flowers. The clusters are cylindrical-conical in shape and of medium density; the berries are medium-sized, dark blue, almost black in color, with thick skin.

The variety is characterized by low yields, the ability to grow on poor soils, and resistance to temperature fluctuations. The wines are distinguished by their intense color and complex aromatics with notes of black fruit, spices, and black pepper, while the flavor profile is highly dependent on the terroir.
