The variety has vigorous vines with thick shoots. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical-pyramidal in shape, often with wings. Berries are round or slightly flattened, yellow-green in color, and develop characteristic reddish-violet spots when fully ripe in the sun.
The variety is noted for a tendency toward irregular yields due to poor flower fertilization and berry drop. It possesses good resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. Wines from this grape are characterized by moderate acidity, a floral aroma, and notes of herbs, apple, and pear.
