Variety description

The variety is late-ripening. Leaves are medium-sized, egg-shaped, 3- or 5-lobed, deeply dissected with sharp serrated teeth along the edges. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, often with a wing, and are characterized by high berry density.

Berries are small or medium, round, light green with dark dots, covered with a firm skin; the flesh is very juicy. The variety is undemanding, adapts to dry and poor soils, and possesses frost resistance.

Intended exclusively for winemaking. The wines are characterized by high acidity, notes of green apple, citrus, and mineral undertones. It is used to create dry, sparkling, and dessert wines when affected by noble rot.
