The variety is indigenous, formed naturally, and was widespread in Central Europe in the Middle Ages. Vines have very strong growth; leaves are medium, coarse, and slightly woolly on the underside. Clusters are large, pyramidal, branched, and dense. Berries are medium-sized, round, yellowish-white in color, with thin skin.
The variety belongs to the late ripening group. It is characterized by sensitivity to winter frosts and a susceptibility to grey mold. Intended exclusively for the production of white wines, which are distinguished by high acidity, low sugar content, and a neutral flavor profile. Currently cultivated extremely rarely, mainly for research purposes.
