The Vulcanus variety (sometimes referred to by the code B.M.1) was bred in Hungary. Its parentage involved the Pinot gris and Budai zöld varieties.
The grape belongs to the wine varieties. Wines produced from it possess stable chemical indicators and are characterized by green fruit aromas, which makes them suitable for consumption during the summer period.
