The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera and has a hermaphrodite flower type. Morphologically, it is characterized by a pentagonal leaf and medium, cylindrical-conical, compact bunches. The berries are small to medium in size, spherical or slightly oval in shape, and have a waxy bloom.
The ripening period varies from early-mid to late. The variety possesses winter hardiness, but is moderately susceptible to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold. The grapes are used primarily in winemaking to create light wines with a neutral taste and pronounced acidity, often in blends.
