The variety is the result of breeding work by Hungarian research institutes. Genetically obtained by crossing Pinot Gris and Budai Zöld varieties.
The variety is intended for winemaking. Wines made from it are distinguished by pronounced freshness, high acidity, and tones of green fruit. Indicators of alcohol, titratable acidity, and wine extractivity are characterized by stability.
