Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing Pinot noir and breeding sample 99-1-48. The plant has high vigor, semi-erect habit, and medium-high yield. The leaf is medium-sized, rounded, with 3–5 lobes. Bunches are medium to medium-large, conical, and moderately dense.

Berries are medium to small, spherical, blue-black with thick skin and abundant bloom; the pulp is soft with a neutral flavor. The variety adapts to various training systems; the Guyot system is most effective. The variety is resistant to downy mildew but susceptible to powdery mildew.

Wines from this variety are characterized by an intense red fruit aroma, high anthocyanin content, and good structure, suitable for medium and long aging.
