The plant is distinguished by high and stable yield, especially on clay and loess soils. The variety is characterized by sensitivity to low winter temperatures and chlorosis.

Wines from this variety possess a pronounced aroma with hints of spices, flowers, herbs, apples, and tropical fruits. Products can vary from fresh dry wines to sweet dessert variants.
