The rootstock has a pyramidal bush shape with slightly curved, pubescent shoots of light chestnut or greenish color and strong wood. Leaves are large, broad, leathery, shiny, and egg-shaped, with a pinkish tint of the veins on the underside.
Trees on this rootstock reach about 60–75% of the size of trees on seedling rootstocks. Grafted plants begin to bear fruit 4–5 years after planting, demonstrating high yield and good anchorage, often not requiring permanent support.
The variety is resistant to woolly apple aphid, but susceptible to Phytophthora root and crown rot, powdery mildew, fire blight, and tomato ringspot virus. Winter hardiness is moderate, roots can be damaged when soil temperature drops to -12°C, and it poorly tolerates areas with stagnant moisture.
When grown as an independent tree, it produces large green fruits with a possible blush or netting, which are characterized by good taste and a long shelf life.
