The Lancep rootstock belongs to the dwarf group and is comparable in vigor to the M.9 T337 clone. It ensures the formation of compact trees and is used for establishing intensive commercial orchards, requiring mandatory installation of trellises and an irrigation system.
The plant possesses good compatibility with scions and promotes early fruit production with high fruit uniformity. The rootstock is characterized by high sensitivity to root asphyxia under waterlogged conditions, as well as moderate sensitivity to calcareous soils and root sucker formation.
