The tree is characterized by good vigor, a lush spreading crown, and long, often drooping branches. The leaves are elliptic-lanceolate, medium-sized, and dark green. The fruits are small, weighing less than 2 grams, have an elliptic symmetric shape, and acquire a black-violet hue upon ripening.
The variety belongs to the late-maturing group and is characterized by productivity and regularity of fruiting. It is self-fertile, although the presence of pollinators increases yield. The variety is sensitive to cold and has low resistance to diseases such as olive knot, peacock spot, and olive fruit fly infestation.
