The Caspolina variety, also known as Sevillana de Caspe, is autochthonous to the Caspe region. The fruits of the variety are used primarily as table olives, often pickled with herbs, and less frequently for olive oil production.

Morphologically, the fruits are characterized by a large size and an oval asymmetric shape. The fruit skin has a rough surface with numerous lenticels, and the flesh is firm and easily separates from the pit.

In regional nomenclature, the name Caspolina is sometimes used in a synonymic series with other large table varieties, such as Sevillano or Gordal Sevillana, which indicates the possibility of using this name to designate a local subtype.
