Nebbia, also known as Bianchella di Umbertide, is a local variety widespread in Umbria, particularly in the vicinity of the towns of Narni and Campello sul Clitunno. The variety is included in the national register of fruit tree varieties of Italy and belongs to the oil-bearing category.
The oil obtained from the fruits of this variety is used in the composition of blends of local oils with DOP certification. The variety is rare, possesses productive potential in terms of fruit set, and is undergoing trials for cold hardiness.
