The tree is characterized by high vigor and an upright canopy of medium density. The variety is hardy, adapted to arid calcareous soils, and tolerates cold and late frosts. It has medium sensitivity to major olive diseases; yield is medium, characterized by regular bearing; the rooting ability of cuttings is low.
The fruits are of medium size, weighing about 3.5 g, have an elliptical, slightly asymmetrical shape, and a black color at maturity. The resulting oil is characterized by intensity, pronounced fruitiness, a bright green color with golden hues, and aromas of freshly cut grass. Due to its composition, it is often used in blends to provide stability and improve the flavor profile.
