Variety description

The tree is characterized by high vigor, upright crown type, and medium density. Leaves are elliptical-lanceolate in shape and medium-sized. Fruits are elliptical, slightly asymmetrical in shape, weighing about 3.5 g, turning black upon ripening and covered with small lenticels.
The variety is very early-maturing, has medium yield and weak tendency to alternate bearing. The plant is well adapted to dry and calcareous soils, showing resistance to cold. Low fruit detachment force and very low rooting ability of cuttings are noted.
The main purpose of the fruits is table use; oil production is also possible, yielding an oil with an intense fruity aroma, which, due to its low oxidative stability, is often used in blends.
