Variety description

The tree is distinguished by a compact pyramidal shape resembling a cypress. In open field it reaches a height of 4–6 meters; in containers, growth is limited by pruning to 1–2 meters. The leaves are narrow-lanceolate, dense, gray-green with a silvery underside.

The fruits are medium-sized drupes that change color from green to black upon ripening. The variety begins fruiting in the 4th–5th year. The plant is characterized by high resistance to wind, drought, urban conditions, and diseases.

It possesses relative winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to –5...–12 °C. In regions with harsh winters, it requires covering or cultivation as a container crop with relocation to a cool room for the winter period.
