The Carpellese tree has medium to above-medium vigor, forming a spreading, upright-growing crown with medium foliage density. The leaves are elliptic-lanceolate, significantly long, and of medium width with a flat leaf blade.
The fruits are large, weighing up to 5 g, and have an elliptic, slightly asymmetric shape with a rounded base. The primary use of this variety is olive oil production.
The variety has high susceptibility to the olive fruit fly and peacock spot (Cycloconium oleaginum). Resistance to olive knot is rated as low.
