Most often, the name "Olivetta" is found as a variety of arugula (Diplotaxis tenuifolia) used as a leafy vegetable. There is also a determinate tomato variety "Olivetta polosataya" with small elongated fruits.
In ampelography, there are known grape varieties with the root "Olivet" in their name, whose berries resemble olives in shape. Regarding Olea europaea, the name "Olivetta" is not an official variety, but serves only as a common synonym for certain rare local forms or as a commercial brand.
