The fruits of the variety have a cylindrical-conical shape with a small protrusion at the end, their weight ranges from 1.5 to 5 grams. The pulp accounts for 79 to 84% of the fruit volume. The oil from these olives has a fruity aroma with notes of fresh grass, tomato leaves, and spices, as well as a balanced taste with a hint of bitterness.
The variety is autochthonous to the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. The tree shows tolerance to cold, however, the variety is characterized by sensitivity to olive fruit fly infestation and fungal diseases, such as Cycloconium.
