The tree is characterized by a semi-pendulous canopy shape that is sparse and spreading. The variety possesses medium-low vigor and is considered early-maturing. Fruit ripening occurs gradually from mid-September to mid-November.
The fruits are black-purple in color; the skin is covered with bloom and contains lenticels. The variety's productivity is evaluated as low and biennial. The crop is autochthonous to the Lake Garda areas, as well as the Trentino, Veneto, and Lombardy regions.
