The tree is vigorous, forming a light crown with sturdy, eventually drooping branches. The leaves are elongated, boat-shaped, and dark green. The variety is undemanding regarding soil and climatic conditions, grows successfully on light sandy soils, and is resistant to diseases, in particular to Monilinia.
The fruits are medium-sized, rounded, slightly flattened, with thin transparent skin that changes color from light red to dark red. The flesh is soft, light yellow, juicy, with a pit that separates well and unpigmented juice. The taste is characterized by a combination of sugar and acid.
Flowering is late; fruit ripening occurs in July or mid-June. The variety is self-fertile and produces regular yields. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and for making juices, compotes, and marmalades.
