The tree is medium-sized or vigorous, fast-growing at a young age. The crown is large, dense, and wide-pyramidal in shape, often irregular, with branches capable of sagging under the weight of the crop. The leaves are large, smooth, and broad-ovate or broad-oval.

The fruits are large, weighing 190–270 g (sometimes up to 500–900 g), and are round-pyriform or broad-pyriform in shape. The skin is thin but firm, becoming orange-yellow with a golden hue and large russet dots when ripe; a bright blush is possible. The flesh is buttery, juicy, and melting.

The variety possesses relative winter hardiness and high productivity. Disadvantages include the potential for fruit drop and irregularity in fruit size. The fruits are used primarily for fresh consumption and processing.
