The tree is vigorous with a conical or broad-pyramidal crown. Fruits weighing from 150 to 400 g have an oval-conical or broad-pear shape. The skin is thick, rough, yellow-green or golden, covered with a greyish-rusty bloom.
The flesh is white, juicy, tender and buttery, possessing a sweet taste and aroma. The variety belongs to autumn types, with consumer maturity occurring 2–3 weeks after harvesting in September. Fruits can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 120 days.
The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators. The tree is distinguished by resistance to scab, but is sensitive to bacterial canker and stone fruit virus. The variety has insufficient drought tolerance and tolerates strong winds poorly.
