The tree is vigorous, reaching 5–8 meters in height, and forms a conical or high-pyramidal dense crown. It belongs to autumn varieties: harvesting maturity of fruits occurs in the first half of September, and consumer maturity — 2–3 weeks after harvesting.
Fruits weighing 130–250 g have an oval-conical or broad-pear shape. The skin is rough, greenish-yellow in color, with a pronounced brownish coating. The flesh is white or yellowish-white, very juicy, melting, sweet, with a muscat aroma.
The variety possesses medium winter hardiness and weak drought tolerance, is sensitive to sunscald and fruit drop. It is resistant to scab but can be affected by moniliosis. Due to good compatibility with quince rootstock, it is often used as an intermediate stem piece in grafting.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
