The Mv Ködmön variety is a winter form of soft wheat. Its breeding was conducted at the Agricultural Research Institute in Martonvásár, Hungary.
Data on the variety appears primarily in scientific publications devoted to genetic research. In particular, the variety was examined during the analysis of the composition of protein fractions (glutenins) that affect dough properties, as well as in the study of dwarfing genes and rust resistance, including the Lr34/Yr18 gene.
