The variety is a technical grape of the Vitis vinifera L. species, created to improve the qualitative characteristics of the traditional Monastrell variety. The plant is characterized by a specific sugar accumulation reaching about 11.5 degrees.

The produce of this variety is distinguished by a high level of accumulation of phenolic compounds, which maintains wine quality at high temperatures during the ripening period. The amino acid profile of the must is classified as containing a low level of proline.

The variety was developed within the framework of a program for adapting viticulture to climate change. In scientific literature, it is considered in the context of studying disease resistance, however, detailed morphological characteristics of the plant are not described in open sources.
