The Bombino Bianco variety is a late-ripening, high-yielding grape variety, widely distributed in the Apulia region. It possesses good resistance to adverse weather conditions, while being sensitive to downy mildew. The medium-sized berries range in color from white-green to yellowish-green and are used in winemaking.
Bombino Nero is an old red grape variety, which is also encountered under this synonym. It is characterized by high vigor and productivity, and the wine produced from it possesses a fruity profile and intense color despite the thin skin of the berries.
