The variety Brajda Velika, also known as Brajda Velika Crna, Sušac, Sušić, Bašćan, Stara brajda and Crna brajda, is a wine grape. The presumed homeland of the variety is considered to be the island of Susak in the Kvarner Gulf, which historically was distinguished by a high concentration of vineyards.

The plant belongs to mid-to-late ripening varieties and is characterized by high yields. The variety shows resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to Botrytis (grey mold).

Wines produced from this variety are characterized by a high alcohol content. Their characteristics include notes of red cherry, as well as herbaceous and earthy undertones.
