The Spanish wine variety Bruñal is a rare autochthon of the Arribes region. It is a variety with low yield, early ripening, and resistance to gray mold (Botrytis cinerea), used for the production of full-bodied red wines with pronounced tannins, acidity, and forest berry aromas.

The table hybrid form Bruño, widespread in CIS countries, was obtained by crossing the varieties Podarok Zaporozhiyu and Bardovaya Mantiya. The plants are vigorous and high-yielding, maturing in very early or early periods. The clusters are large, weighing 0.5–1.5 kg, with large oval-elongated purple berries, dense fleshy pulp, and a harmonious taste.
