The Burgund mare variety, represented by the breeding form 86 Șt., belongs to the V ripening epoch; the harvest is usually collected in mid-September. The bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, and high-density. The berries are medium, spherical, dark red-violet in color with a thick skin and abundant bloom.

The plant has good winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -22°C, and is resistant to gray mold. The must is distinguished by a high sugar concentration (210–213 g/l) and an acidity of 4.2–4.3 g/l. Wine from this variety has a ruby color and characteristic black fruit aromas.
