The plant is vigorous, belongs to late-maturing varieties, and requires a long growing season. The clusters are small or medium, cylindrical-conical in shape; the berries are blue-black with juicy-fleshy pulp. Due to the low fertility of the buds at the base of the shoot, long pruning is recommended.
The variety is relatively resistant to downy mildew, but is susceptible to anthracnose and flower drop under unfavorable flowering conditions. Frost resistance is down to -22°C. With excessive irrigation, it is prone to the development of herbaceous notes in the aroma. It is intended for the production of red wines with aromas of black berries, spices, and tobacco.
