The variety, also known by the breeding number Incrocio Manzoni 13.0.25, is a hybrid created to soften the aromatic profile of the Raboso variety. The vine has medium vigor and is a late-ripening variety with a harvest period from mid-September to mid-October.

The plant is characterized by high yield, reaching 100–120 c/ha. The variety has resistance to winter frosts and downy mildew, however, it shows susceptibility to gray mold. The clusters are characterized by a variety of berry shades, and wines from this grape stand out with aromas of rose, raspberry, strawberry, and cherry.
