The variety is autochthonous to the Calabria region and has a very late ripening period, occurring in early October. The flower is hermaphroditic. The leaf is medium-sized, round, dark green, slightly lobed, five-lobed, with no pubescence on the underside, and a closed petiolar sinus.
The bunch is medium, conical, with two shoulders, compact or very compact. The berry is medium, oval, white, covered with a thick waxy bloom, with thick skin and juicy flesh. The variety demonstrates good yield and resistance to fungal diseases, and also tolerates summer heat and winter cold.
The wine grape variety is intended for the production of white wines characterized by good acidity, body, and aromatics with notes of dried fruits, apricot, citrus, herbs, and mineral nuances. It is important to distinguish it from the Montonico Bianco and Manzoni Bianco varieties.
