The variety has a hermaphroditic flower. The leaf is rounded, five-lobed, slightly or moderately dissected, with medium-density pubescence on the underside and a closed petiole sinus with an elliptical lumen.
Bunches are of medium size, cylindrical-conical in shape, dense or very dense, with an average weight of 290 g. Berries are small, rounded, dark blue in color with a thick waxy bloom, thin skin, and juicy flesh with a neutral taste. The variety is susceptible to fungal diseases and frost.
Known under the synonyms Cabernet Pfeffer and Mourtaou. The variety should not be confused with the varieties Manseng Noir and Manzoni Bianco.
