Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing Carolina Blackrose and Ruby Seedless. The berries have a sweet, crunchy taste and dark purple or black color; the clusters are characterized by a uniform shape.

The plants are highly productive; achieving optimal commercial performance requires intensive agrotechnics, including girdling, thinning, and the use of gibberellic acid. Due to high berry density, the variety is susceptible to Botrytis cinerea.

The variety is well adapted to warm Mediterranean climatic conditions and possesses some field resistance to downy mildew.
