Marzemino (black) is an autochthonous variety genetically related to Teroldego and Refosco. It is a late-ripening wine variety, maturing in late September to early October, characterized by high, stable yields that require management to avoid vine overloading. The variety prefers well-drained soils on slopes and adapts to various vine training systems.

The variety has good resistance to downy mildew, but shows low resistance to powdery mildew, Botrytis, and sour rot. Wines made from it are characterized by a deep ruby-red color, balanced acidity, moderate tannins, and aromas of plum, cherry, blackberry, and violet.

Marzemina bianca is a rare grape variety from the Veneto region, which is a natural hybrid of Garganega and Marzemino. It is a late-ripening variety, sensitive to downy mildew and powdery mildew, used in blends for the production of white or sweet wines with floral and fruity notes.
