Marzemina grossa N. (synonyms Marzemina Bastarda, Marzemina Grossa Bastarda) is an ancient grape variety known since the 17th century. It is currently a rare variety and is under threat of extinction, however, it is officially authorized for the production of certain regional wines, in particular Valpolicella.

The variety possesses good adaptability to cultivation and resistance to fungal diseases and rot. Products made from this grape are distinguished by a high concentration of coloring substances, and notes of wild violet, raspberry, and small red berries are present in the aroma of the wine.
