The variety is the result of work by breeders from the organization Resistant. It is a product of crossing the varieties Merlan and Fratava. The flower is hermaphroditic, self-pollinating, yield is estimated as medium, recommended load is 6–8 buds per m².
The variety is of mid-late or late ripening maturity. The leaf is medium-sized, round, smooth. The cluster is medium-sized, triangular, winged, of medium density. Berries are medium, round, blue in color, covered with bloom.
It shows medium or good resistance to powdery mildew and medium resistance to downy mildew; the presence of the resistance locus Rpv7 is confirmed. The wine is characterized as full-bodied, intense, with fruit tones, dark ruby color and a taste reminiscent of Merlot.
