The variety belongs to technical (wine) types and is characterized by vigorous vine growth. The berry ripening period ranges from 127 to 157 days. The yield of the variety varies from 60–70 c/ha in arid conditions to 120–200 c/ha under irrigation, although excessive vegetation on fertile soils negatively affects berry quality.
The plant possesses high drought tolerance but low winter hardiness (-15 to -18°C) and is susceptible to fungal diseases. The variety requires a hot, dry climate and stony, well-drained soils. Bunches are medium-sized and of moderate density; berries are small, round, dark blue in color with abundant waxy bloom and thick skin.
