Variety description

The variety has moderate vigor. The leaf is medium-large, pentagonal in shape, five-lobed or seven-lobed, with noticeable notches and large serrations. The bunch is medium-sized, conical, compact, often with a wing. Berries are medium, round, dark red or black in color, covered with a thick waxy skin.

The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group. Yield is regular but low. The grapes are highly susceptible to grey mold in rainy seasons due to the density of the bunches. Wines are characterized by fruity, spicy, and earthy notes, possessing a balanced taste.
