Queen Nina is a table variety with a mid-late maturity group of 140–150 days. The vines are vigorous, clusters are cylindroconical with a weight of 400–600 g. Berries are very large, weighing 15–17 g, teardrop-shaped or oval, bright crimson, with fleshy-juicy pulp and sugar accumulation up to 21 Brix. Resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew is estimated at 3–3.5 points.
The Aki Queen variety is a table variety with an early-mid maturity group of 120–130 days. The vine is vigorous, clusters weigh 300–350 g, with individual ones reaching 500 g. Berries are bright red, large, weighing up to 14 g, and possess a strawberry and labrusca flavor.
The Golden Queen variety is a white table variety with a harmonious flavor. There is also a Japanese premium seedless variety, Queen Rouge. In a number of cases, the term Queen is used as a marketing name or title for iconic varieties of wine-growing regions.
