The name Queen Victoria is most often identified with the Chasselas blanc variety, originating from North Africa. In rare cases in historical catalogs, this name is found as a synonym for the Trollinger variety or is used in the pedigrees of breeding lines.

As a table variety, Chasselas blanc has medium-sized clusters weighing about 193 g of conical or cylindrical-conical shape. The berries are medium-sized, round, yellow-green in color with a golden hue; the flesh is tender and melting. The flower is hermaphroditic, the crown of the young shoot is wine-red, and the leaves are bronze.
