The Rokaniaris variety is a local Greek grape that has traditionally been cultivated in the Argolis region. In international classification, it belongs to white wine varieties intended exclusively for wine production.

The plant is adapted to local growing conditions on stony soils under the influence of a maritime climate. The grape is characterized by aromatic qualities, confirmed by studies of the berry and wine composition, including the presence of benzothiazole.
