The variety was obtained by crossing the forms FR 147-66 (Riesling × Pinot gris × American Vitis species) and We 75-34-13 (Sauvignon blanc × Riesling × Vitis amurensis). The plant is characterized by vigorous growth with an upright shoot orientation and a medium-early ripening period.
The grape possesses high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and Botrytis cinerea, as well as high frost hardiness. The clusters of the variety are of medium to medium-large size, loose, with small or medium-sized berries. The yield is medium, and the must sugar content is higher than that of the Riesling variety.
Wine from this variety possesses a fresh aroma with notes of gooseberry and a harmonious, soft acidity, without pronounced herbaceous tones.
